GREENWOOD - Barbara D. Manaraze passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 29, 2021 at her home, surrounded by her family that she loved dearly. She was born in Cushing, Okla. to the late, Forrest and LeMoyne Hetherington.
Barbara retired from the United States Postal Service after working for 30 years. When she was not hard at work, or home taking care of her family, she loved going to church and being around her church family. She loved kids and always looked on the positive side of things. Her love of the Lord, her family, and her church will always be cherished and remembered, she will be sorely missed.
In addition to her parents; she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert "Big Bob" Manaraze; siblings, LeMoyne Roe, Joan Daniel, and Colleen Kelley.
She is survived by her children, Margo Wagner, Donna Manaraze-Green, Thomas Manaraze, Garry Manaraze, Cheryl Manaraze, Robert Manaraze Jr.; brother, David Hetherington; 12 grandchildren; six great grandchildren.
A celebration of Life Service will be held 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, August 5, 2021 at the Heritage Bible Baptist Church, 6510 Hickman Rd, Greenwood, Del. Interment will be private at the Delaware Veterans Cemetery, Millsboro immediately after.
