SELBYVILLE - Barbara A. Armstrong, age 89, died Tuesday, July 30, 2024 at Tidal Health Peninsula Regional in Salisbury. She was born in South Caicos in Turks and Caicos Island and was the daughter of the late Cleophas Durham and Helen (Ward) Durham.
She was a retired personnel specialist for the US Government and a member of Salem Church in Selbyville, DE.
Barbara is survived by her husband of 45 years, David W. Armstrong; one sister, Linda Jean Cooley of Churchton, MD and a sister-in-law, Judy Durham of Ocean Pines, MD.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Cleo Hunt Durham.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, August 7, 2024 at Salem Church, 29 W. Church Street, Selbyville, DE. Friends may call one hour before the service. Burial will be at Union Cemetery in Burtonsville, MD at a later date.
