GEORGETOWN - Arthur Robert Chick passed away peacefully at Country Rest Home in Greenwood on Tuesday, May 10, 2022.
Arthur was a Long Distance Truck Driver in New York and then worked his farm in Georgetown for over 30 years. Mr. Chick served in the U.S. Army and was active with various veteran's associations, also serving as a National Officer with the Disabled Veterans National Foundation. Mr. Chick was also a RSVP Volunteer with the Cheer Center in Georgetown. He attended Asbury Church with is wife.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Katherine Chick in 2017; and his son, Michael Chick.
He is survived by his daughter, Heidi Chick; and brother, Bill Chick of Texas.
A committal service will be held on Tuesday, May 24, 2022 at 1 p.m. in the chapel at Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 26669 Patriots Way, Millsboro, DE 19966.
In lieu of flowers, contributions in Arthur's memory can be made to: Asbury UM Church, 14923 Hardscrabble Rd., Seaford, DE 19973 Or: Home of the Brave, 6332 Sharps Rd., Milford, DE 19963.
