Arthur Leroy Hathcock Sr.

CAMDEN - Arthur Leroy Hathcock Sr. of Camden, passed away Sunday, Nov. 19, 2006, in Smyrna.

Mr. Hathcock was born in Memphis, Tenn.

He was a U.S. Army World War II veteran.

Mr. Hathcock was a member of Ogeltown Baptist Church and was a dedicated Christian working many jobs at church and was a great adult teacher at church for many years. Mr. Hathcock worked for the DuPont Co. for 28 years.

He and his wife traveled to 128 countries and they would play golf at each place. He enjoyed coaching little league and played for church teams.

He is survived by his wife, Grace Hathcock; a son and a daughter-in-law, Leroy and Josephine Hathcock of Camden; and a grandson, James Hathcock of Camden.

Celebration of life services will be 1 p.m. Friday in First Southern Baptist Church, Dover, where friends may call two hours earlier.

Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Camden.
