Arthur Eugene Lindsey, 61
BRIDGEVILLE - Arthur Eugene Lindsey of Bridgeville died Sunday, Aug. 12, 2007, in Nanticoke Memorial Hospital, Seaford. He was 61.
Mr. Lindsey was a member of the Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Bridgeville, and was a truck jockey for Perdue Farms.
He enjoyed playing the guitar for choirs at church. Mr. Lindsey loved music and would play for anyone who wanted him to play. He inspired many people through his God given talent of music.
Mr. Lindsey adored people and would help them in any way he could.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Daisey (White) Lindsey.
He is survived by his wife of 13 years, Juliet (Williams) Lindsey; his sons, Rash Lindsey of Currituck, N.C., and George Williams and Arthur Williams, both of Bridgeville; his mother-in-law, Norma Williams of Grandy, N.C.; two sisters-in-law, Beatrice Banks of Brooklyn, N.Y., Phyllis Lindsey of Grandy, and Patricia Shannon of Grandy; one brother, Donald Lindsey of Poplar Branch, N.C.; his brothers-in-law, John LaRogue, Arthur Seymour and Eric Shannon, all of Grandy; his sisters, Norma Banks, Ramona Lindsey, Mattie Woodley, all of Poplar Branch, N.C., Ray LaRogue of Braco, N.C., and Daisey Seymour of North Hampton, N.Y.; one grandchild, Joy Elaine Walls; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Services will be 2:30 p.m. Sunday in Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Bridgeville, where friends may call one hour prior.
