Anon 'Mike' Doyle McDonald, 81 GREENSBORO, Md. - Anon "Mike" Doyle McDonald, of Greensboro, died Monday, July 14, 2008, in Perry Point Veteran Hospital. He was 81. He was born on April 2, 1927, in Plant City, Fla., to the late William Lee and Fannie Mae Wood McDonald. Mr. McDonald was a welder for the Formosa Plastics Corporation in Delaware City retiring in 1991. He was a World War II Army Veteran and a life member of Caroline Memorial VFW Post 7937. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Audrey McDonald. He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Frances E. Wise McDonald; two stepsons, Larry J. Wise of Woodbridge, Va., and Victor Wise of Greensboro; one stepdaughter, Shirley Hunter of Ridgely; one brother, Alton McDonald of Federalsburg; one sister, Natalie Bridegroom of Preston; and six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren. Services will be 2:30 p.m. Saturday in Fleegle and Helfenbein Funeral Home, 106 W. Sunset Ave., Greensboro, where friends may call one hour prior. Interment will be in Chesterfield Cemetery, Centreville. Letters of condolence may be sent to www.fleegleandhelfenbein.com.
