Annabelle Mae Appenzeller

BRIDGEVILLE - Annabelle Mae Appenzeller, of Bridgeville, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 18, 2012, at Naticoke Memorial Hospital, Seaford. She was born on May 14, 1941, in Wilmington, to the late Franklin and Nettie Vicker Bacon. She was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Wesley Appenzeller in April of 2011. She is survived by sons, H. Dale Reed Jr. of Blades, Gary Reed Sr. of Bridgeville, Michael Reed of Dover, Robert Reed of Georgetown, and Larry Reed of Laurel; daughter, Phyllis Ann Hendrix of Bridgeville; brother, Bob Bacon of Camden; sister, Phyllis Simpkins of Smyrna; nine grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren. There will be a gathering of Family and Friends from 1 to 2 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 21, 2012, at the Trader Funeral Home, 12 Lotus Street, Dover. The family requests that memorial contributions be given to National Kidney Foundation, 30 East 33rd Street, New York, NY 10016; or www.kidney.org.
