Anna Marie Allaband

Allaband, 86 GREENSBORO, MD - Anna Marie "Tootsie" Allaband, died on Wednesday July 18, 2012 in her home. Anna was born on July 24, 1925 to the late Norman and Lillie May Meredith. She was retired from The Corporation Trust Company where she was the office manager. She was preceded in death by her ex-husband and the father of her children, Martin "Bud" Allaband; siblings and spouses, Norman "Jack" Meredith, Bill and Jane Meredith, Minnie Meredith, James Meredith; daughter-in-law, Joan Allaband; and grandchildren, Kevin and William Short; and her boyfriend, of over 60 years Leonard "Piggy" Tribbitt, She is survived by her son Hewitt Wayne Allaband; daughter and son-in-law, Louise and John Short; a special niece she helped raise, Mary Louise Davidson; sister-in-laws, Ella Meredith, Margaret Powers; grandchildren, Wayne Allaband, Jeff Allaband, John Short, Jr., Angel Short; five great- grandchildren; many nieces, nephews and dear friends. She was loved by all. Special thanks to all her caregivers and Season's Hospice. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 21, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in the Fleegle and Helfenbein Funeral Home, Greensboro, MD. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service.
