MILLSBORO - Anna DiMattia Matz of Millsboro died March 30, 2007.

Anna was born in Abruzzi Province, Italy and then moved to Pennsylvania before moving to Delaware. She worked for the Clairton, Pa. Magistrates Office. She retired from the M & T Bank in Millsboro.

Anna enjoyed shopping, painting ceramics and her family.

She attended Long Neck United Methodist Church.

She was preceded in death by her father, Emilio DiMattia; her husband, John Franklin Matz who died in 1995; and a sister, Pina Scarseua.

She is survived by her mother, Ada Ginestra DiMattia; a daughter, Shannon Marie Matz of Millsboro; three stepsons, Douglas F. Matz of Philadelphia, John E Matz of Latrobe, Pa., and Gary F. Matz of Rosslyn Farms, Pa.; two sisters, Dea Bonaccita and Ida Ward, both of Clairton, Pa.; and a brother, Dominic Dimattia.

Services will be Monday at 7 p.m. at Watson Funeral Home 211 Washington St., Millsboro, where friends may call from 4-7 p.m.

There will also be a service Thursday at 10 a.m. at S. M. Finney Funeral Home 432 N. Sixth and Walnut streets, Clairton, Pa.

Instead of flowers, contributions may be made to Delaware Hospice Southern Division 20167 Office Circle Georgetown, DE 19947.

Interment will be in Round Hill Cemetery, Elizabeth Township, Pa.
