Anna Bowers Rice Holloway, 88

CRISFIELD, Md. - Anna Bowers Rice Holloway, age 88, of Crisfield, died Friday, Oct. 23, 2009, in the Alice Byrd Tawes Nursing Home in Crisfield. Born in Easton, the daughter of the late Viola Dulin and Clarence Harry Rice. She was a clerk in the Sussex County Court House in Georgetown, Del., before retiring. She is survived by a son, William P. Bogdan Sr. of Glen Burnie; a daughter, Frances A. Mahoney of Crisfield; seven grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Howard Holloway in 1989. Services will be 2 p.m., Tuesday, Oct. 27, in Watson-Yates Funeral Home,; Front and King streets, Seaford, Del., where friends may call from noon to 2 p.m. prior to services. Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Seaford.
