VIOLA, DE - Ann H. Cain passed away Sunday, June 12, 2022, at Delaware Hospice.
She was born December 21, 1939, in Dover, Delaware, to the late Harry Cariss Hancock and Adabelle Short.
Mrs. Cain was a member of the Moose Lodge and Avon club. She loved puzzles, and spending time outdoors, watching and feeding the birds in her yard.
In addition to her parents; she was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, William S. Cain, Jr.; her aunt, Elizabeth Hancock; and her uncle, Harold Hancock.
Mrs. Cain is survived by her children, Sue A. Burchett (Joseph) of Camden-Wyoming, DE, and Duane Harrell (Kelley) of Harrington, DE; her sister, Jean Horan of Bluffton, SC; her grandchildren, Michael Yost, Matthew Yost, Hannah Harrell, and Rachel Harrell; and great-grandchildren, Skylar Yost, Dylan Yost, and Drake Yost.
Graveside services will be held 9 a.m., Saturday, June 18, 2022, at Lakeside Cemetery, 558 N. State Street, Dover, Delaware.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions be made to First State Animal Center and SPCA, 32 Shelter Circle, Camden, DE 19934
