Mrs. Wilkerson was born on Oct. 28, 1948 in Wilmington, the daughter of the late Joseph and Angeline (Disabatino) Giobbe.
She worked for many years at various factories in the Smyrna-Clayton area including Harris Manufacturing, which she retired from.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Wilkerson; and her brother, Jesse Giobbe.
She is survived by her daughter, Vicki Nabb, her husband John, and their children, David Mehalshick, Wesley Mehalshick, Hayley Mehalshick, Joseph Nabb (wife Autumn), and John James Nabb; her son, Carl Baker; her sister, Dottie Conomon (husband Jack); and many nieces, nephews and extended family.
