Angela Catanzaro

Angela Catanzaro peacefully passed away on April 7, 2018 at Silver Lake Nursing Home.
Born in Manhattan, N.Y., she was the daughter of Anthony Cusumano and Josephine Montlebano Cusumano. She grew up in Port Chester, N.Y. She raised her children in Jersey City, N.J. and North Plainfield, N.J. retiring in Delaware.
She was a wonderful seamstress, cook and baker. She loved to play bingo and bowled in her retirement years. She was a longtime member of Holy Cross Church and Dover Modern Maturity Center.
Angela was predeceased by her husband, Nicholas of 58 years; daughter, Joy Nardone; her parents; and brothers, Joseph and Leonard; sister, Nancy Catanzaro; and her son-in-law, Raymond Kenney.
"Angie" is survived by her daughter, Concetta "Connie" Kenney. She is also survived by her grandsons, Scott Kenney (Jennifer) of Scottsdale, Ariz., and Adam Kenney (Kristin) of Gilbert, Ariz.; Stephen Nardone (Barbara) of Colorado; and grand-daughter, Rebecca Blackford (Christopher) of Florida; her great grandchildren, Allison Kenney, Ellen Kenney and Claire Kenney of Minnesota, Alex and Brooke of Arizona, Nicholas Nardone of Colorado, and Alyssa Blackford of Florida.
Mass of Christian Burial will be offered 12 p.m. on Monday April 16, 2018, at Holy Cross Church, 631 S. State St., Dover, DE 19901 followed by interment in Holy Cross Cemetery, Dover.
Visitation will be from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. on Monday April 16, 2018, at the Funeral Home of Michael J. Ambruso 1175 S. State St. Dover, DE 19901.
In lieu of flowers, family suggests donations in her memory to St. Jude's Children Research Hospital PO Box 1000 Memphis, TN 38101-9908
