MILLINGTON, Md. - Amy Ruth (Williams) Hibbs of Millington, formerly of Lang-horne, Pa., died Monday, Jan. 22, 2007, in her home.
Mrs. Hibbs was born Feb. 18, 1914, in Philadelphia and was educated in the Philadelphia school system.
She was employed by the Ne-shaminy School district for many years as a cafeteria manager.
She gave her life caring for her husband, enjoyed crafts and e-mailing, and kept an immaculate home filled with love, plants and cookies.
Mrs. Hibbs was a member of Capitol Baptist Church of Dover, but most recently attended Grace Wesleyan Church, Millington.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Katie Allen Williams; a sister, Irene Patter-son; and two brothers, William H. A. Williams and John Russell Williams.
She is survived by her hus-band of 72 years, George Ray-mond Hibbs; a son and a daugh-ter-in-law, Kenneth and Janet Hibbs of Millington; a daughter and a son-in-law, Kathleen and Carroll Wagner of Galena; eight grandchildren and their spouses, Karen and John Hill of Millington, Kim and Brent Ca-rothers of Akron, Ohio, Kathleen Hibbs of Hannover, Germany, Ken and Tammi Wagner of Nashville, Tenn., Kristi Lehman of Millington, Dan and Shelli Wagner of Middletown, Tim and Tonya Wagner of Los Angeles, and Steve and Dana Wagner of Westminster; and 14 great-grandchildren, Zakary, Jimmy, Melonie, Ashley, Andy, Emily Logan, Hunter, Katie, Caleb, Kaylee, Sophia, Jason and Joel.
Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Saturday in Galena Funeral Home of Stephen L. Schaech, 118 W. Cross St. Galena, where friends may call one hour earlier.
Graveside service will be 2 p.m. Monday in Sunset Memorial Park, 333 County Line Road, Feasterville, PA.
Instead of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Gideons International, P.O. Box 651 Chestertown, MD 21620.
