FENWICK ISLAND - Alma Katherine Gabriel, 84, died Wednesday, May 11, 2011. She is survived by her loving husband of 61 years, James Gabriel; children, James (Delores), Katherine (Thomas), Karen (Bill), and Debbie (Kevin); brother, Joseph; and sisters, Dorothy, Norma, and Eleanor. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Tuesday, May 17, 2011 at 11 a.m. at St. Ann's Catholic Church, 691 Garfield Parkway, Bethany Beach, DE 19930. Friends and family may call on Monday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Bethany Chapel of Melson Funeral Services, 38040 Muddy Neck Road, Ocean View, DE 19970. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions in Alma's memory to the Alzheimer's Association, 109 N. Bedford St., Georgetown, DE 19947.
