FELTON - Aline E. "Lyn" Boyer of Felton died Tuesday, Nov. 21, 2006, in Bayhealth-Kent General Hospital, Dover. She was 68.
Ms. Boyer was born in Danielson, Conn., daughter of the late Napoleon and Laura Grenier.
She worked in the Dover Air Force Base commissary for 30 years. She worked for Dover Wal-Mart and then for Camden Wal-Mart for the past five years until retiring in 2005.
In her spare time, she enjoyed traveling. She also liked to play card and board games, and she also liked to work in her yard. She was an extensive doll collector and a great homemaker. She also enjoyed making dolls, cakes, sewing, etc.
Ms. Boyer will be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother; a good person who had a big heart, but was also an honest person. She would tell you what was on her mind and be brutally honest.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her sisters, Yvette, Lillian and Lorrane; and her brothers, Roger and Richard.
She is survived by two sons, David L. Frechette of Harrington and John W. Boyer Sr. of Felton; two daughters, Denise M. Rhinehardt of Wiscasset, Maine and Darlene M. Carroll of Felton; three brothers, Rene Grenier of Connecticut, Rolland Grenier of Florida and Bobby Grenier of Connecticut; four sisters, Jeanette Heimer of Smyrna, Clair Potvin, Doris Breault and Lucille Ingersoll, all of Connecticut; six grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
Services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
