Alice P. Brittingham, 84 SEAFORD - Alice P. Brittingham, of Seaford, died on Thursday, July 10, 2008, at home. She was 84. Mrs. Brittingham retired in 1970 from Walker's Garment Co. after 26 years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Reese Brittingham died in 1987; and a daughter, Mary Lou Marino in 2000. She is survived by two daughters, Charlotte Patterson of Seaford and Shirley Schultz of Orlando, Fla.; four grandchildren, Rebecca Kent, Robert Patterson, Sandy Thomas and Rachael Munsin; seven great-grandchildren; a brother, Preston Vickers of Laurel; and a sister, Viola Fleming of Seaford. Funeral services were in the Cranston Funeral Home, 300 N. Shipley St., Seaford. Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Laurel. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations may be made to Delaware Hospice Inc., 100 Patriots Way, Milford, DE 19963; or the American Cancer Society, 92 Read's Way, Suite 205, New Castle, DE 19720.
