Alice M. Bennett Wood, 83 EASTON, Md. - Alice M. Bennett Wood, of Easton, formerly of Milford, passed away on Friday, Feb. 26, 2010, at Talbot Hospice House in Easton. She was 83. She was born in Milford, the daughter of the late Earl J. and Lottie Hudson Bennett. She was a homemaker who loved taking care of her family's children, traveling and her cat, "Tiger." In addition to her parents, her son, Willis Wood Moffett (Jr.), preceded her in death. She is survived by her husband, Willis Wood; her daughter, Janelle Allen and her husband Dale of Easton; son, Ronald Bennett and his wife Nancy of Milford; six grandchildren, Victor E. Passwaters, Jessica R. Passwaters, Amanda Marie Allen, Michelle Maull, Christian N. King and Jacob King; and four great-grandchildren, Jayden Passwaters, Jared Maull, Casey Maull and Cameron Maull. Funeral Services will be noon, Friday, March 5, in the chapel of Berry-Short Funeral Home, 119 NW Front St., Milford, where friends may call after 11 a.m. Interment will be in the Delaware Veterans Memorial Cemetery, Millsboro. Flowers accepted or contributions may be made to: Talbot Hospice Foundation, 586 Cynwood Drive, Easton, MD 21601.
