Aileen "Judy" (Carter) Jones, 88
DOVER - Aileen "Judy" (Carter) Jones of Dover died Saturday, Oct. 14, 2006, in her home. She was 88.
Mrs. Jones was born Jan. 2, 1918, in Chester, Penn., daughter of the late Albert Bradford and Beatrice (Evans) Carter.
She was a homemaker all her life.
She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Mrs. Jones was a longtime member of Wesley United Methodist Church, Dover.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Homer W. Jones Sr., in 2005.
She is survived by a son and a daughter-in-law, H. William "Bill" Jr. and Judith Jones of Dover; a daughter and a son-in-law, Beatrice J. and Allen Moore of Dover; four grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Services will be noon Wednesday in the Trader Funeral Home Inc., 12 Lotus St., Dover, where friends may call one hour earlier.
Burial will be in Odd Fellows Cemetery, Camden.
Instead of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to Wesley United Methodist Church, Dover.
