Adele Cieslewicz

MILFORD - Adele Cieslewicz, age 86, of Milford, died Sunday, Dec. 26, 2010, at home. She was born in Philadelphia, Pa., the daughter of the late Peter and Victoria (Cobola) Bliss. She worked as a bank teller at the Bank of New York in Long Island, N.Y., for many years. She was a member of St. John the Apostle Catholic Church, Milford and served with the Sunshine Foundation in Milford. Adele enjoyed working around the house. She is survived by a daughter, Joan A. Botkin and her husband Kevin, of Rockville Centre, N.Y.; a son, Robert C. Hludzinski and his wife Dorothy, of Milton; a sister, Helen Forys, of East Meadow, N.Y.; a brother, Frederick Bliss, of Agawam, Mass.; two grandchildren, Denise Ali and Thomas Hludzinski; and three great-grandchildren, Ryan Ali, Brandon Ali and Shawn Ali. A memorial mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 15, 2011, at St. John the Apostle Catholic Church, 506 Seabury Avenue, Milford. Burial will be private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers the family suggests contributions to Delaware Hospice, 911 South Dupont Highway, Dover, DE 19901. Arrangements by Lofland Funeral Home, Milford.
