DOVER - Addie Margaret Sinclair went home to be with the Lord on July 5, 2011. She was 81. Mrs. Sinclair was born July 6, 1929, in Pennsgrove, N.J., and grew up in Minquadale, Del.. She was the daughter of the late William and Rebecca (Whittington) Gordon. Addie met her husband Jim in the choir of Minquadale Methodist Church, where they were later married. In addition to being a full time homemaker most of her life, she also enjoyed spending time with her family, camping, and attending gospel music concerts. After raising five children, Addie continued to nurture and care for her eight grandchildren. She also showed her love of children by providing child care for several families in the area. Mrs. Sinclair is survived by her husband of 63 years, James H. Sinclair; three brothers, John Gordon of Millsboro, Robert Gordon of Chestertown, Md., and William Gordon of Miami Fla. She is also survived by two sons, James E. Sinclair of Milford, and Dennis Sinclair of Felton; three daughters, Barbara Bennett of Milford, Debbie Cobourn of Dover, and Cindy Pangburn of Clayton; eight grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. Funeral services will be at 1 p.m., Saturday, July 9, 2011, with viewing beginning at 11 a.m., at Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden-Wyoming Ave., Wyoming.
