Victim identified in fatal Bridgeville crash

BRIDGEVILLE — Delaware State Police have identified the individual who died in a fatal crash in Bridgeville on Friday as Cameron Gray, 20, of Federalsburg, Maryland.

Police say at approximately 7:24 a.m., a 2021 Toyota Corolla driven by Mr. Gray, was traveling eastbound on Atlanta Road, negotiating a slight right curve.

At this time, a 2021 fully loaded cement Mack Granite truck operated by 53-year-old male, of Bridgeville, was traveling westbound in the same vicinity. Due to unknown circumstances, the Toyota failed to negotiate a curve and crossed into the westbound lane directly into the path of the cement truck.

This collision remains under investigation by the Delaware State Police Troop 7 Collision Reconstruction Unit. Anyone who may have witnessed the collision is asked to contact Senior Cpl. R.
