Sussex Tech adds ESL class locations

GEORGETOWN — Enrollment in Sussex Technical Adult Education’s English as a second language course has increased over 100% from 2022, requiring times and locations to be added.

The availability is as follows:

  • Sussex Tech Adult Education, 17099 County Seat Highway, Georgetown (mornings and evenings).
  • Phillip C. Showell Elementary School, 41 Bethany Road, Selbyville (evenings).
  • Bridgeville Public Library, 600 W. Cannon St. (mornings).
  • Georgetown Public Library, 123 W. Pine St. (mornings).
  • Laurel Public Library, 101 Fourth St. (mornings and afternoons).
  • Seaford High School Library, 390 N. Market St. Extended (mornings and evenings).
  • Selbyville Public Library, 11 S. Main St. (mornings).

Additionally, children can enroll in family literacy ESL classes. Morning sessions are scheduled at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church, 122 E. Pine St., Georgetown, and evening courses are set for Seaford Central Elementary School, 1 Delaware Place.

The classes are free, and monthly enrollment closes in March 2024. For class times and information, call 302-856-9035.
