Gibbs: Let’s forget the politics and have a merry Christmas

Posted

I wanted to write this message much sooner during this busy and wonderful time of the year, and I hope that it is not too late to get the word out that this is the “Christmas holiday” season, which only comes once a year.

And, if we continue to give our attention to the chaos, rhetoric, lies, judicial flip-flops, sycophants and circus performers that we put in Congress, we will miss the “joy and good tidings” that this holiday brings.

Let’s not let the continuous bad breaking news suck out all the joy, laughter, fellowship and spirit of this season of peace and goodwill to all. After all, we do not know how many more of these holiday seasons we will have and experience.
