DOVER — A 41-year-old Dover man has been charged in connection with the burglary of El Nopal Mexican Restaurant on Saturday.

Following an investigation, officers contacted Jose Dominguez-Morales on Tuesday, as he was walking in the 100 block of South New Street, Dover police spokesman Master Cpl. Ryan Schmid said. He was taken into custody without further incident.

The establishment at 627 W. Division St. was burglarized at 10:57 p.m., authorities said.

Mr. Dominguez-Morales was charged with third-degree burglary and theft under $1,500. He was released on an own-recognizance bond.
