DOVER — One Henlopen Conference basketball championship wasn’t enough for Dover High on Saturday.
The Senators thought they’d make it two.
First, Dover’s girls’ team won the Henlopen trophy with a 65-48 victory over Woodbridge on its home court.
It was only the Senators’ third conference title in the sport and first since 2007.
Then, Dover’s boys posted a 95-74 victory Seaford to take the Henlopen crown before a near-sellout crowd.
That title was the 12th overall for the Senators and their second in their second in the last three seasons.
After the boys’ game, the two Dover squads posed for a big team photo with their two trophies.
