DOVER — Eight Henlopen Conference teams have made the field for the DIAA baseball state tournment that was determined on Saturday.

In softball, 12 Downstate schools are in the 24-team state tournament bracket, including six who earned first-round byes as a top-eight seed.

The softball tourney starts with eight first-round matchups on Tuesday while the baseball tournament gets underway on Thursday with eight contests.
Caravel (softball) and Saint Mark’s (baseball) rearned the top seeds in their tournaments.
