Delmarva Christian Schools
Delmarva Christian Schools organized two transformative retreats that left students inspired and spiritually enriched.
Middle school students spent their retreat at The Children's Beach House in Lewes. This retreat served as a platform for students to engage in team-building activities, immerse themselves in Bible studies, and strengthen the bonds within their class. Students also heard from J.T. Spadin, the associate/youth pastor at LiFT Church in Salisbury, Maryland.
The annual Freshman Retreat at Black Rock Retreat in Pennsylvania is a hallmark event at Delmarva Christian Schools. The freshman class embarked on a three day journey that provided students with a unique opportunity to disconnect from technology and immerse themselves in meaningful interactions with their peers. Senior student leaders, teachers, and volunteer staff traveled with the students to Pennsylvania along with United Church Youth Pastor, Lucas Stearns who delivered multiple sermons for the students.
"We are thrilled to provide our students with these enriching retreat experiences that foster personal growth, spiritual development, and strong bonds within our school community. These get-aways remind us all that the goals are neither test scores nor premier colleges, as important as those things are. Instead, at Delmarva Christian Schools, we are committed to nurturing students who, while being a well prepared academic, love Jesus and love others,” said Matt Kwiatkowski, Delmarva Christian Schools Head of Schools
