BRIDGEVILLE — A 26-year-old Bridgeville man died from injuries suffered in a shooting Saturday.
Delaware State Police said Daquan Lake was found with a gunshot to the upper body by troopers responding to a reported shooting at approximately 3:30 p.m. in the 21000 block of Mill Park Drive.
Authorities said Mr. Lake was dead upon officers’ arrival.
A preliminary investigation revealed that the victim was on the road conversing with a large group of people. An unknown suspect then shot the victim, and the crowd fled the scene, police said.
