Bayhealth has announced that neurologist Dr. Rakesh Jaitly has joined Dr. Ali Sheharyar, Dr. Usman Shehzad, Dr. Jessica Lowe, Dr. Ahmad Jamal Mahmoud Sawalha and Dr. Abraham Scheer in its Neurology practice in Dover and Milford.

Bayhealth welcomes neurologist to Dover, Milford
DOVER — Bayhealth has announced that neurologist Dr. Rakesh Jaitly has joined Dr. Ali Sheharyar, Dr. Usman Shehzad, Dr. Jessica Lowe, Dr. Ahmad Jamal Mahmoud Sawalha and Dr. Abraham Scheer in its Neurology practice in Dover and Milford.
Dr. Jaitly treats a range of neurological disorders and offers poststroke care. He is accepting new patients.
“We are very pleased that Dr. Jaitly has joined our talented team of specialists at Bayhealth Neurology,” said senior director of neurosciences Adam Spengler. “Dr. Jaitly is highly experienced in treating neurological conditions, as well as stroke, and is helping us expand upon our ability to improve the health of our community members with these types of conditions.”
Dr. Jaitly comes to Bayhealth from the Department of Neurology at Georgetown University, Washington, D.C. He earned his medical degree from Lala Lajpat Rai Memorial Medical College in India. He completed a neurology residency, followed by a fellowship in clinical neurophysiology, at the Medical College of Virginia, Richmond. Dr. Jaitly is board-certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. He is also a member of the American Academy of Neurology.
