West, 100 LAUREL - Woodrow Wilson West of Wilmington, passed away on Jan. 16, 2013 at Christiana Hospital. Born in Laurel, he is the son of the late Joseph and Riley West. In his early years, he worked at the Sun Ship Yard in Pennsylvania, and then became a General Contractor in 1959, until retiring in 1996. He loved to fish, and enjoyed visiting Broad Kill Beach. He is survived by his son, Wilson Donald West of Wilmington; and grandson, Gene Keller and his wife Lorraine of Greenwood. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Virginia West; daughter, Joyce Ann Keller; and several brothers and one sister. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 21, 2013 at the Hannigan, Short, Disharoon Funeral Home, 700 West Street, Laurel, De. 19956. A viewing will be held one hour prior to the service. The Reverend Danese Collins will officiate. Interment will be held at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Laurel.
