DOVER — A 20-year-old woman was shot while lying in bed at a home in the 400 block of Barrister Place Sunday night, Dover Police said.
The gunfire came from an unknown suspect who discharged multiple shots toward a home at about 8:03 p.m., spokesman Master Cpl. Mark Hoffman said.
The woman was on the second floor and suffered non-life threatening injuries. She was being treated at Bayhealth-Kent General Hospital in Dover.
A vehicle was also damaged along with the front of the residence.
Police said investigation is ongoing and ask anyone with information to call 736-7130. Callers may remain anonymous.
