Harris, Jr., 84 ROCK HALL, Md. - On Oct. 21, 2012, God called Brother Willis (Butch) Harris, Jr., home to rest. He was born on April 9, 1928 in Rock Hall, Md. to the late Willis Harris and Helen Hazlton. He received his education in the public schools in Rock Hall, Md. He was a military veteran, who served in the U.S. Air Force, before he became a truck driver for Lawrence Nicholson & Co. He enjoyed traveling and spending time with his family and friends. He also enjoyed watching baseball and football, especially his favorite teams, The Yankees, The Orioles, and The Redskins. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Helen Thomas-Harris of Rock Hall, Md; his son, Lynn Harris and wife Cheryl of Woodbridge, Va; his son, Willis Duckery and wife Josephina, of Smyrna, Del.; his son, Alvin Harris and fiancee Alana Romero of Albuquerque, N.M.; his stepson, Michael Rochester of Wilmington, Del.; ten grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews. He will be dearly missed. Services will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 27, 2012 at the Aaron Chapel UM Church in Edesville, Md.
