MAGNOLIA - William W. Donnell passed away Saturday, Dec. 5, 2015 at home. Mr. Donnell was born July 8, 1936 in Newark, Del. to the late William E. Donnell and Irene Sullivan Donnell. He served in the United States Army. Mr. Donnell worked as a painter at Wilmington Airport in New Castle, General Motors and Cardox Trucking, and then became and independent trucker, Donnell Trucking. He was a teamster for 27 years and a 32 Degree Mason. Mr. Donnell enjoyed martial arts, Tae Kwon Do, motorcycles and fishing. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by sister, Marie Mote. He is survived by his wife of 7 years, Donna Lee Donnell of Magnolia; sons, William Donnell and his wife Michelle of Sparrows Point, Md., Michael Donnell of Watauga, Tenn., Brian Donnell and his wife Sharon of Stockbridge, Ga., Scott Donnell and his fiancé Trish Vance of Wyoming, Del.; daughters, Robin Harrington and her husband of Harrington, Del. and step daughter, Ashlee Hudgins of Dover, Del.; sisters, Nancy Hellyer of Bear, Del., and Diane Baugher of Ringgold, Ga.; grandchildren, Billy, Ashley, Brooke, Taylor, Casey, Justin, Christopher, Vicki, Isaiah and Alecia; great-grandchild, Murphy Jameson Donnell. Funeral services will be held 12 Noon, Friday, Dec. 11, 2015 at Torbert Funeral Chapel South, 1145 E. Lebanon Road (Rt.10), Dover. Friends may call from 10-12.
