Frederica - William 'Bill' S. Anderson Jr. passed away Saturday, March 19, 2016. Bill was born in Queen Anne, Md., to the late William S. Anderson, Sr. and Jennie Stevenson (Lofland). Bill owned his own business for over 50 years. He was passionate about cars, and you could find him most days working on cars in his shop, watching NASCAR, or talking about cars with his friends, who will miss his quick wit and good humor. Bill loved his family deeply and nothing made him happier than spending time with them, especially his grandsons. He is survived by his best friend of over 50 years and the mother of his children, Barbara; his daughter, Christine and her sons, Kevin and Drew; his daughter, Karen and her husband, Rodney; his sisters, Mary Morris and Lyna Lou Anderson; and a host of longtime friends. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Anderson. Friends may call from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. on March 29, 2016 in the chapel of Berry Short Funeral Home, 119 NW Front St., Milford, Del. 19963. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations in Bill's memory to: The American Cancer Society, PO Box 22478 Oklahoma City, Okla. 73123 or: Ronald McDonald House Charities Inc., 26345 Network Place Chicago, Ill. 60673-1263.
