Winterstein, 75 SUDLERSVILLE, MD - William Lee Winterstein died Saturday, Feb. 9, 2013 at his home surrounded by his family. Mr. Winterstein was born on Feb. 9, 1938 in Glen Arm, Md. the son of the late Clarence and Ruth Winterstein. Mr. Winterstein was a 1956 graduate of Sudlersville High School. After high school, Mr. Winterstein went straight to work farming and has done so all his life. In 1979, he married Jean Winterstein and the two started their family together. Mr. Winterstein was a member of the Queen Anne's Agriculture Preservation Board, Farm Bureau, the Holstein Association, and the Queen Anne's Conservation Association. He loved to work, spend time with family and to collect and work on Ford cars, especially Mustangs. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by one son, "Little Bill." He is survived by his wife, Jean Winterstein of Sudlersville, Md.; four daughters, Amber Greenwood of Chestertown, Md., Ginny Moran and husband Gary of Sudlersville, Carolyn Minsker and husband Scott of Townsend, Del., Lee Winterstein of Marydel, Md.; two sons, William Winterstein and wife Elizabeth of Sudlersville and Wesley Winterstein and wife Ashley of Sudlersville; two sisters, Norma Weller of Sudlersville and Betty Elburn of Sudlersville; 12 grandchildren; and ten great grandchildren. Services will be held at noon on Wednesday, Feb. 13, 2013 at Fellows, Helfenbein and Newnam Funeral Home, P.A. 370 Cypress St. Millington, MD where relatives and friends may call two hours prior (10 a.m. to 12 p.m.). Interment will be in Sudlersville Cemetery following the service.
