William 'Duke'
Krivoski, 73
DOVER, DE - Duke Krivoski was called home to his Savior on Sept 21, 2022 after a brief illness in the Hospice Unit at Christiana Care Hospital in Newark , DE. Duke was born Mar. 19, 1949 in Bedford, PA, to the late Mitchell and Margaret (Peg) Krivoski.
After graduating in 1971 from Penn State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Communications, Duke joined the US Airforce. He served 26 years of active duty service mostly in Europe and loved every minute. After retiring as Chief Master Sargent, Duke enjoyed traveling and learning about different places, NASCAR races, fishing and reading. He was a huge fan of all Pittsburgh sports, especially the Steelers. His greatest enjoyment was spending time with his five grandchildren.
Duke is survived by his loving wife of 49 years, Erni Krivoski; son, Joseph Krivoski of Newark, DE; daughter, Gina Shaffer (Danal) of Whidbey Island, WA; grandchildren, Veronica M. Shaffer, Raymond K. Shaffer, Amber M. Shaffer, Micah E. Shaffer and Kalina E. Shaffer all of Whidby Island, WA.; brother, Jim and (Donna) Krivoski of Easton, PA; sister, Jill Bardell (Terry) of Bedford, PA.
In addition to his parents; Duke was predeceased by his stepmother, Jean Krivoski; and his son, Michael Scott Krivoski.
Duke chose to make the ultimate gift for future generation. At his request, his body has been donated for the advancement of science and there will be no services.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to his favorite charities for cancer research: the American Cancer Society and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
