Georgetown - William Holston passed away in the loving care of his family on Dec. 13, 2014. He was born in Georgetown on Feb. 26, 1929 to the late Larry Elmer and Edith Mae Holston. He married his sweetheart, Anna Mae and together they raised four children. He was an Equipment Operator for several road construction companies, including Swift and George & Lynch. He was known to be a stubborn, yet endearing man who was very funny in his antics. He was cold natured, and his kids loved to tease him about going to take him clamming in the wintertime. He was a NASCAR fan, and Boston Red Sox fan. He liked cutting grass, yard work and particularly liked outings with his friends to the Casinos. He also enjoyed long drives in the country with his beloved wife Anna, until her passing in 2002. He is survived by his four children, Wayne Holston, and his wife Zela, Michael Holston, and his wife Missy, Alvin Holston, and his wife Dana, and his daughter, Karen Franklin. He is also survived by three siblings, Margaret Willey, Charles Holston, and Virginia Malloy; along with eight grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. He was very fond of his grandchildren. In addition to his parents, and wife, he was preceded by a brother, Reese Holston. A time of visitation will be held, with a viewing at Watson Funeral Home, 211 S. Washington St. Millsboro, DE on Monday, December 15 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions to the Delaware Hospice; 100 Patriot Way; Milford, DE 19963. Electronic condolences to: www.watsonfh.com
