'Billy', 69 SMYRNA - William H. Moore, "Billy" of Smyrna, DE, passed away on Sunday, March 2, 2014 at his home surrounded by his loved ones. Billy was born June 18, 1944 in Dover, DE, the son of the late Presley and Margaret Moore. He served his country with honors in the National Guard. Mr. Moore worked for several years in the construction industry and on the family farm. Billy enjoyed harness racing, hunting, fishing, and spending time with his family and friends. In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Diane; his brother, Bobby; and his sister, Ruth Ann. He is survived by his oldest brother, Presley, (Beronica) and their two daughters, Karen and Myra (Rob) and their son, Robby; and his youngest sister, Patricia Stachecki (Raymond) and their son, Ray; his sister-in-law, Jackie Moore, her daughter-in-law, Amy, and her children, Dougie and Kristen; two nephews, Glen (Tina) and Scott Burchard; and extended family members. A viewing for family and friends will be held on Friday, March 7, 2014 at 6 pm in the Faries Funeral Chapel, located at 29 S. Main St., Smyrna, DE. Funeral services will begin at 7 pm. Burial will be privately held at Lakeside Cemetery in Dover at a later date. Condolence letters may be sent by visiting www.fariesfuneralhome.com
