"BJ" Jones Jr., 67 DOVER - William E. "BJ" Jones Jr., died on Sunday, Nov. 4, 2012 at Milford Hospice Center. Billy was born on Jan. 11, 1945, the son of the late William E. Jones Sr. and Pauline Jones of Greenwood. He worked as a correction officer in the Delaware Correction System, retiring after serving almost 30 years. Billy enjoyed going to Spences Sale and yard sales. He loved his family and spending time with them. He is preceded in death by his father and his brother Gerald. Besides his mother he is survived by his wife, Marlene Herron Jones, they were together 18 loving years; his five children Stefanie of Greenwood, Nathaniel of Sterling, Va., and Sara, Cynthia, and Renae all of Dover; three grandchildren, Megan, Dustin, and Kasey; and two sisters, Delores Slatcher, of Seaford, and Durene "Dee" Jones of Greenwood. Friends may call Wednesday, Nov. 7, 2012 from 7 to 9 p.m. at Fleischauer Funeral Home, 16 W. Market St, Greenwood, DE 19950. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, Nov. 8, 2012 at 1 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be held at St. Johnstown Cemetery in Greenwood.
