William A. 'Bill' Hallinean EAST NEW MARKET - William A. "Bill" Hallinean passed away on January 6, 2021 at Corsica Hills Center in Centerville. He was born in Rochester, N.Y. on March 1, 1947 to the late William Hallinean and Thelma Reinstater Hallinean. Bill graduated from Chaffey High School in Ontario, California. Upon graduation, he joined the United States Army, where he served in the Vietnam War. On September 21, 1983, he married the former Linda Ann Lowe. Linda brought Bill to the Eastern Shore, and he fell in love with it. He loved all kinds of hunting and fishing. He was a member of the Cambridge Moose Lodge #1211, and a past member of the American Legion Dorchester Post 91. Bill is survived by his wife, Linda Hallinean; daughter, Windy Hall; four granddaughters; two great grandchildren; a step son, James Davenport, Jr.; and a sister, Karen Hinshaw. Besides his parents; Bill was preceded in death by a sister, Bonnie Toms; and a step son, John Davenport. A celebration of Bill's life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are in the care of Thomas Funeral Home, P.A.
