Willard Louis Brown

DOVER - Willard Louis Brown passed away Thursday, Feb. 28, 2013 at home. Mr. Brown was born Jan. 7, 1945 in Dover to the late George W. Brown and Lillian Mae Davis Brown. He had served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Mr. Brown worked as a truck driver for Wonder Bread, Utz, Gibbles, Knootz Dairy and retired from the Teamsters Local #326. He was in AA for over 30 years, and loved to help others get sober. Mr. Brown is survived by his wife of 46 years, Jean Marie Cahall Brown of Dover; daughter, Debra Mosley of Camden; brothers, Allen Brown and his wife Laverne of Dover, Leroy Brown and his wife Margaret of Camden, and Jack Brown of Felton; sisters, Ethel Warrington and her husband Dusty of Clayton, Mildred Daniels of Tenn., Joyce Baggley of Fla.; brothers, George Brown, Jr., and Wayne Brown; grandchildren, Elijah, Niasia, Laila, Jeremyah, Sariah; his friend, John Holland; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at noon, Monday, March 4, 2013 at Torbert Funeral Chapel South, 1145 E. Lebanon Road (Rt.10), Dover. Friends may call one hour prior. Interment will be at Odd Fellows Cemetery, Camden. Letters of condolence may be sent, and guestbook signed at torbertfuneral.com
