Meredith, 67 DOVER – Wayne Edward Meredith passed away on Sept. 11, 2012. His final days were spent surrounded by family and friends. Wayne was born June 3, 1945 in Wilmington, Del. to the late William E. Meredith and Evelyn J. Gore Roeder. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister, Peggy J. Meredith Willey. He is survived by his companion, Nancy L. Jones; his daughter, Jacqueline W. Johnson and her husband, Robert C. Johnson; two grandchildren, Jarrett A. Johnson and Kelcey M. Johnson; a sister, Pat Roberts; a brother, Wesley Meredith; a step son, John Meredith; and numerous nieces and nephews. Service will be held 7 p.m. Friday on Sept. 28, 2012, at Pippin Funeral Home, 119 W. Camden Wyoming Ave., Wyoming, DE. where friends may gather one hour earlier.
