Smyrna - Wayne David Sawyer passed away on Aug. 4, 2015. Mr. Sawyer was born Jan. 4, 1964 in Dover, Del., the son of William sawyer of Smyrna and Sandy Vickery of Felton. Wayne was a huge Philadelphia Eagles, as well as an avid Orioles and NASCAR fan. He was a kind hearted man who loved his family and will be deeply missed. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Annette; his daughter, Hannah; his brother, Billy; and extended family. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, Aug. 11, 2015 at 10 a.m. in the Faries Funeral Chapel, located at 29 S. Main St. in Smyrna. Funeral services will begin at 11 a.m. Burial will follow in Sharon Hills Memorial Park. Condolences may be sent by visiting www.fariesfuneralhome.com.
