Wayne A. George

DOVER - Wayne passed away on May 7, 2013. He was a college graduate with a degree in Business Administration. He worked for the U.S. Geological Survey for 20 years and was owner and president of Green Seasons Lawn and Tree Care of Delaware for 25 years. After retirement, he loved boating, his family and had a special love for animals. Wayne was a kind and generous man who was loved by all who knew him. His family will miss him dearly and will love him always. Wayne is survived by his wife of 54 years, Saralee A. George; his children, Wayne A. George, Jr. and wife Nancy, Douglas A. George and his longtime companion Deb Moore, and Laura A. Wickwire and her husband Alan; he is also survived by his brother, Robert George and family of Mass.; his sisters, Elaine Crowley and her husband Ed Klimazak of Connecticut, and Norma Stuart of Las Vegas; he also leaves behind two grandchildren, Jessica L. Hodges and family of Dover, and Monica L. Lucas and family of Alaska; and five great-grandchildren, Madison, Meaghan and Evin Lucas and Kayla and Keira Hodges. He was preceded in death by sister, Beverly Tomaiuolo of Connecticut. Funeral services were private. In Wayne's memory, donations may be sent to the Kent County SPCA, 32 Shelter Circle, Camden, DE 19934.
