Warren Thomas Bradford, 84

SALISBURY - Warren Thomas Bradford, of Salisbury for the past 29 years and formerly of Marion, died on Wednesday, May 13, 2009 at Coastal Hospice at the Lake. Born in Bridgeport, Conn. on Nov. 18, 1924, he was a son of the late Edward and Cecile Isola Bradford. A US Navy World War II Veteran, he was a life member of the Redmen Lodge in Fruitland, and a member of the Salisbury VFW Post 194 and the Salisbury American Legion Post 64. He is survived by his wife, Philomena 'Phyllis' Brenner Bradford; eight children, Bill and Sonia Bradford of Guam, Mickey and Tammy Bradford of St. Augustine, Fla., Anne and Bill Widmann of Wisconsin, Katy Shockley of Salisbury, Frank and Lisa Bradford of Alexandria, Va., Alice and Jack Brumley of Princess Anne, Alfred Bradford of Marion, and John Bradford of Marion; ten grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; four siblings, Eugene Henry Bradford of Fla., James Bradford of S.C., Jane Gognan of Conn. and Peter Bradford of N.H. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by three siblings, Edward Bradford, Margaret McClellan and Dorothy Gombas. Memorial services were held on May 17th, at the Salisbury VFW Post 194. Urn interment will be at a later date in the Eastern Shore Veterans Cemetery in Beulah. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are requested to be sent to Coastal Hospice, P.O. Box 1733, Salisbury, Maryland 21802-1733 or to the Marion Fire Department, P.O. Box 143, Marion, Maryland 21838. Arrangements are in the care of Bradshaw & Sons Funeral Home in Crisfield.
