FEDERALSBURG, Md. - W. Glenn Lane, of Federalsburg, died at his home on March 13, 2012, after battling cancer. He was 52. Born in Easton, Md., on June 3, 1959, Glenn was the son of Delores Breeding Lane of Federalsburg and the late William H. Lane. He was a 1977 NCHS graduate. Glenn had been a truck driver for Rick Breeding Excavating in Denton and had been a self-employed carpenter and home builder. He was a member of the Harrington Moose Lodge and the Federalsburg VFW Auxiliary. He enjoyed NASCAR, hockey, baseball, and football. He loved hunting, but most of all, he loved his family. In addition to his mother, Glenn is survived by his significant other, Vickie Lineweaver of Federalsburg; two daughters, Kari Spence and her husband William and daughter Kalynn of Chesterfield, Va., and Kristen Lane and her daughter Aleigha Mooney of Federalsburg; Brandon Reed who was like a son to him and his son Wyatt of Smithville, Md.; two sisters, Lois L. Winbrow and her husband Fred of Blades, and Linda Elben of Federalsburg; and his aunts, uncles, cousins, and nephew. Funeral services will be 1 p.m., Saturday, March 17, at the Moore Funeral Home, P.A., 12 S. Second Street in Denton, Md., where friends may visit with the family from 6 until 8 on Friday evening and one hour prior to the service on Saturday. The interment will be in the Concord Church Cemetery on Rt. 313 near Federalsburg.
