Cincinnati, Ohio - Viola Maude Jaggers, passed away peacefully on April 12th at the VITAS Hospice Facility in Cincinnati, Ohio. Born in Creston, Iowa in 1931, she lived in several places along her journey; Alaska, Arizona, England, and Magnolia, Del. She was married to her husband Edward for 63 years. She was a nurse and loved to take care of people. This kind-hearted person loved her family. As a wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend, she was the best! She was always there for anyone at any time. She loved her dog Tiffy that she always had in her lap. She loved her many friends of many years, especially Ernestine Thomas, who was always there for Viola, spiritually. Viola also had a passion for writing even with the changing times. She was still writing letters and cards to everyone until her last days. She was a person of her word! She was a "class act" that will be greatly missed by all that she touched. She is survived by her son, Perry; daughter, Jana; sisters, Peggy & Rosella; brother, Howard; sister-in-law, Norma; brother-in-law, Lamar; sister-in-law, Ann; daughter-in-law, Linda; and seven loving grandchildren, Billy, Mike, Jordan, Jonathan, Jessie, Heather, and Samantha; and a wonderful grand-daughter-in-law, Rebekka; as well as several other relatives and friends. A special thank you to VITAS hospice for the outstanding care and support. Also, a thank you to the Hodapp Funeral Home for all the funeral arrangements. Visitation will take place at the Hodapp Funeral Home, 6410 Cincinnati-Dayton Road, Liberty Township, Ohio on Fri., Apr. 17, 2015 from 10 a.m. until the funeral service at 11 a.m.
