DOVER - Viola C. Argo, 83, of Westminster Village, Dover, and formerly of Milford, died, Dec. 13, 2010, at Kent General Hospital, Dover. Mrs. Argo was born in Lewes, the daughter of the late Richard P. and Emma H. (Roach) Reynolds. She retired from Southern States in Milford in 1986. After retiring, she worked part time at Allison's Hallmark Store. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John E. Argo in 1984; two brothers, E. Layton Reynolds and R. James Reynolds; and a sister, Margaret Johnson. She is survived by three sons, R. Wayne and his wife Genevieve of LaVale, Md., Edward and his wife Elaine of Buffalo, N.Y., and David and his wife Chris of Swedesboro, N.J.; seven grandchildren, Jason Argo and his wife Nicole, Matt Argo, Brittany Argo, Jackie Argo, Josh Argo, Rhonda DeJoice and her husband John and Timothy Wilt; five great-grandchildren, Rowen Argo, Sawyer Argo, Alexis Wilt, Joseph DeJoice and Collin DeJoice; and a sister-in-law, Hazel Argo Smith and her husband Jim of Little Heaven. Funeral services will be 2 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 18, 2010, at the Lofland Funeral Home, 102 Lakeview Avenue, Milford, where friends may call from noon to 2 p.m. Burial will be in Slaughter Neck Cemetery, Argos Corner, Milford. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to Westminster Village Benevolent Care, 191 Westminster Drive, Dover, DE 19901.
