Sapienza, 80 LONG NECK - Vincent "Vinny" Sapienza passed away on June 7, 2014 at home. Vinny was born in Brooklyn, NY, the son of the late Frank and Sarina (Fieggetta) Sapienza. He was a very successful and prominent jockey racing thoroughbred horses. He enjoyed fishing, boating and trips to Florida and North Carolina; he also enjoyed smoking his pipe. He is survived by his family, friends and loved ones. In lieu of flowers, the family has requested doing a random small act of kindness for someone in memory of Vinny. Services will be private.
